Itinerary
  1. Day Before
    If overnighting in Aguas Calientes, your guide visits the hotel at 7–8pm to introduce themselves and confirm pickup.
  2. Morning
    Pickup in Aguas Calientes (overnight option) or first train from Ollantaytambo (day option).
  3. Citadel
    Bus up to Machu Picchu. 2hr 30min private guided tour of the citadel.
  4. Free time
    Explore on your own — optional walk to the Sun Gate or Inca Bridge before the guided tour.
  5. Return
    Bus down, return train, transfer to your hotel.

  • •Available entrance times: 6am, 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm.
  • •The 6am / 7am / 8am entrances are reserved for travellers staying overnight in Aguas Calientes.
  • •Day-train travellers can enter from 9am at the earliest, depending on train schedule.
  • •Maximum stay inside the citadel: 6 hrs (if entered by 11am). The site closes at 5pm.
  • •Entry to Machu Picchu is only permitted accompanied by a licensed guide.
  • •Choose your entrance time on the booking form — we'll organise the matching train schedule.
  • •Payment for the tour is due when we pick you up.
